GLOBAL COMPLIANCE CHARTER

 INTRODUCTION

All organizations, including companies, perform a function within society. Organizations exist not only for their own benefit, but in order to fulfill the needs of individuals, regional society and international society by carrying out those functions. At the time of Alps' 50th Anniversary celebrations, which marked a new start, or a second founding, the following "Alps' Philosophy" was formulated to highlight our efforts to help fulfill those needs.

"Alps' Philosophy"

"Alps creates new values that satisfy stakeholders and are friendly to the earth".

"Alps' Philosophy" clarifies the ideals and values on which Alps bases its operations. It is also a guide for employees to combine their strengths and overcome any changes in the surrounding environment.

From the beginning, Alps has contributed to all company stakeholders (such a customers, shareholders, employees, local and international society) and shared profits and gains with them. The company's activities are carried out through the continued efforts of each and every employee. However, in order to act upon the "Alps Philosophy" and continue our contributions to progress on both international and local stages, we must not forget the fourth article of ALPS Action Guidelines - "Alps people will act fairly, working to adhere to world rules and to understand different cultures." This requires Alps employees to practice "compliance", employees' observation of corporate ethics by abiding by laws, regulations, and company rules, and by respecting social norms. Having achieved excellent results and community trust, all would be in vain if even just one important rule is broken. Alps believes that our continuous honest activities will win the trust, which will lead Alps to a healthy and long-term progress.

Alps had declared its commitment to fair management, and put into practice compliance measures. As part of the company's systematic compliance infrastructure, Alps has now established the "Compliance Charter", Fundamental Philosophy and Action Guidelines for its directors and employees. This Compliance Charter serves as a mechanism to reflect upon your past actions, and should be utilized as the guideline for your daily business conduct. As an employee of Alps Group and as a member of society, please take responsible and sensible action.

FUNDAMENTAL PHILOSOPHY

As a member of the global community, Alps is committed to displaying fairness in its corporate activities, as well as to taking responsible and sensible action, in order that ALPS may continue to develop with society while making a valuable social contribution.
